Chelsea Neese
Chelsea Neese, a third generation native Arizonan, began riding when she was only three years old on her family's horse farm. Now an accomplished equestrian, Chelsea credits her mom and dad first and her hard work and dedication second for her expert riding abilities and numerous awards and titles. When Chelsea was nine, she won her first title, the 1997 Apache Junction Rodeo Queen Miss. The following years, Chelsea was crowned the 1998 Country Thunder Rodeo Queen Miss, the 1999 Miss Missy Rodeo Arizona, the 2000 Miss Pre-Teen Country Western Arizona, the 2001-2002 Lost Dutchman Days Junior teen Queen, the 2003 Lost Dutchman Days Senior Teen Queen, and the 2004-2005 Gilbert Days Teen Queen. She most recently earned the 2006 Gila County Rodeo Queen title. Chelsea says that she is proud to be a member of the Cowgirls Historical Foundation because it gives her the opportunity to teach others about the importance of Western Heritage and carry on her family's tradition of horsemanship and western values.
