Kelly Bennett

Don’t let this corporate gal fool ya – she may work hard but she plays even harder! Kelly has been in the aerospace business for 16yrs but when she kicks off her heels, she is a dedicated and loyal cowgirl who tackles everything she does with enthusiasm and vigor. She has been a part of the Cowgirl Historical Foundation since it first began supporting charities, along with their mission to preserve western heritage.

No matter what obstacle Kelly encounters in life, she always tackles it head on and with a smile. She claims, “You can always find something positive in every challenge you encounter and what’s most important is to learn from every experience. It makes you a better person for the future.”

Kelly has always been a very active person with many interests. Her dogs are her best pals and her Chug, Macie (Chihuahua & Pug mix) is the light of her life! She also loves to ski, work out, ride her dirt bike, quad & motorcycles but her true passion is her love for horses. She adores each one she has, including her mini donkey who calls out to her every time he sees her. They have a special donkey language they speak to each other that only the two of them understand together. J

On top of her already busy schedule, she still finds time to compete in cowboy mounted shooting. She won her first world championship as a level 1 in 2007 and claims it’s a fun, but addicting sport.

Kelly’s motto: “What you believe in your heart will shine through to others.”
