“Spurs and bling…it’s a cowgirl thing!” And a Lindsey thing! As a little girl growing up in Chandler, Arizona, Lindsey loved all things pink and sparkly! When Deller Baker (Duke) , her American Quarter Horse, came into the picture nine years ago, Lindsey found a way to combine her passion for western riding with her love of all things girl-y. She attended a Cowgirl 101 class with the Cowgirl’s Historical Foundation and then went on to hold six rodeo queen titles over the next six years! Lindsey was the 2006 Gilbert Days Rodeo Missy, the 2007 Lost Dutchman Days Junior Teen Queen, the 2008 Gilbert Days Rodeo Princess, the 2009 Gila County Junior Miss, the 2010 Gilbert Days Senior Princess, and the 2011 Copper Dust Stampede Teen Queen. Traveling around the great state of Arizona, representing her rodeos, Lindsey gained a true love for the people of Arizona and all things western, and was a great ambassador to the western lifestyle. Lindsey and Duke have ridden in many, many parades, rodeos, and special events, and have participated in hundreds of hours of community service. In 2009, Lindsey was awarded the Hats Off to Rodeo Royalty Award presented by Miss Rodeo America, Inc., for being an outstanding representative of rodeo and western heritage in her community.

Lindsey has been riding with the Cowgirl’s Historical Foundation for five years, and loves the friendships and special memories she is making with all the Cowgirls. They have been her role models since she was nine years old, so it is a true honor for her to now be a part of such a special group. Lindsey is currently a Junior at Arizona State University, attending on an academic scholarship. She is pursuing a major in Family and Human Development, with a minor in Special Education. When she is not riding with the Cowgirls, spending time with Duke, or studying, Lindsey enjoys camping, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She hopes she can be a role model to other little girls, just as the Cowgirls were to her!
