Brooke Zimmerman

Brooke Zimmermann grew up on a small ranch in Glendale Arizona. Riding has been second nature to her since she was 5 years Old. Barrel racing, roping, team sorting and representing Arizona as a rodeo queen was her passion while growing up. As a high school student, Brooke started a riding school for young children who shared her love of horses. She taught over 30 students per week and gradually became a teacher for young women desiring to become rodeo representatives and for children with special needs where horse therapy was beneficial to their development. She continues to teach horseback riding lessons now for over 20 years. She is a fifth generation Pioneer of Arizona. Her mother’s family are rodeo stock contractors and ranchers in Oklahoma. Brooke has had the opportunity to represent her western way of life and rodeo all over the country, including the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Canada.

Brooke enjoys acting in local theater productions and working as a TV commercial actress. Brooke’s main passion in life however, is to home school her five children. Her husband, Daniel was a school teacher for many years. Together, they have created an enriching learning environment with the freedom to allow each one of their children to learn in a way that is most natural to them. From creating internships with farriers and veterinarians, treasure hunts and Kayaking in New Mexico and gardening and theater programs. Their goal is give their children a love for learning!

Currently, Brooke is proud to be on the board as Vice President for the Cowgirl’s Historical Foundation. This organization allows her to use her love of horses to perform in rodeos and parades across the country. She is also able to give back to her community with special service projects to help organizations such as Florence Critterdon, and the Veteran’s Memorial fundraiser just to name a few.
