Kelly Jo Heschke
Kelly Jo is a junior high social studies teacher for an A+ recognized school and holds her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. Her family has a long tradition of raising and competing on Quarter Horses and she began showing at the age of two in halter, western pleasure, and barrel racing at open shows and with 4-H. At age 10, Kelly Jo began carrying flags for Barnes PRCA rodeos. She has won numerous awards in horse shows, was crowned Miss Rodeo Iowa in 2001 and then competed for Miss Rodeo America at the end of her reign.
Kelly Jo spends most of her free time with her husband Jeff and two young children Nash and Danika. They enjoy playing at the park, traveling, attending Valley sporting events especially cheering on the Arizona Cardinals at every home game.
Kelly Jo says that being a part of such an illustrious and driven organization has provided her with the opportunity to share her love for the western lifestyle and the values that her family has instilled in her. From the cheering at a rodeo or the genuine handshake from all of the wonderful people she meets, being a Cowgirl is a privilege that she holds dear to her heart.
